In 9k gold, but with a finish resembling 18k, the permanently attached key turns to click open and release the padlock top. Both front and back display raided two forget me not flowers, each slightly different. Yes, handmade makes such a difference! Each is set with tiny turquoise gemstones and a centered half freshwater pearl.
