I bought this from the actual designer and the zipper was only basted into the dress

not sheer and not stretchy

With mandarin collar and mother of pear buttons, it is a fine example of 19th Century style. Fabric I believe to be flax although I am no expert. It is a very tight weave fabric, and very sound structurally. Measurements: I took these measurements while the jacket was on the dress form because it fit so perfectly there and with all the seaming, it seemed the best way to get
