60's Black Straw Upturned Brim Hat with White Rose Detail by Samuel Spigel velvet prom dress An unusual cut topaz crystalFrom the late 60's to early 70's. Fabric is a very sheer lightweight synthetic black straw. Deep crown with upturned brim much like a modified derby. Attached in the front is a long stem white voile rose along with a black velvet hatband. Interior is finished with the standard ribbon. Excellent condition with only one issue. If you look down into the curled brim you can see an age spot on the white rose. Otherwise this hat is lovely. Inner
