Hades Infernal Schemer (Enchanted) Hades is one of the best Disney villains, bar none, and his card is no exception
If you can spend some extra money, youll want to replace those with better fetch lands
Venerated Rotpriest fills that gap, handing out poison counters to an opponent whenever a creature you control becomes the target of a spell
Its also not lost on me that a blue artifact looking to yoink spells from your opponent probably doesnt want to target the other blue player - for the risk of running into a counterspell which will be a pointless hit to get unless youre activating Synthesis Pod in response to an already ongoing stack war
Pillar Analysis Legendary Power | Alpha Scarcity | Pristine Condition 17
Being able to ramp the best land out of the top four cards of your deck at instant speed is already very useful, but the fact that you can still draw one of them into your hand as a fall back means that you wont have a major downside (see Growth Spiral for a similar effect)
