Despite that, metal cards are beginning to gain steam, as they started to become more common with the Sword and Shield era cards, and continue to be used in some of the most valuable Scarlet & Violet era sets
While a bit overshadowed by top-tier Sword and Shield Lost Origin cards or Temporal Forces cards in terms of meta dominance, S&V still boasts some excellent competitive cards, such as the Dragapult EX (130/167) and Charizard EX (199/165)
That and it takes another card to give trample otherwise, it's simply too easy to chump block these days
Watch for 'Rotation' datesonce it leaves Standard format (likely 2027), price may dip as players offload, before recovering as a pure collector piece
Id argue the much more difficult aspect is navigating it again in another language, but thats easy to get used to as well
Keep in mind that rare-holos (not ultra rares) dont usually sell for more than $2.50 or so
