Should I need a card from that box, I write down which card, for what purpose and what date and put the paper back
Cryptic Command is the one that I need to advocate for the least, partly because its the most heavily played of the four and because everyone knows its good in 60-card formats
Its almost like having an Ardenn, Intrepid Archaeologist on the battlefield, but its 10 times better because of its flash ability
Playing this Jumpstart format is a great way to try combinations of mechanics and ensure everything plays nicely together, even if the set isn't ready to draft
Defensive plays are fundamentally reactive, and you want them to work , dammit
Also, no one wants to block an attacker with deathtouch that also will draw you a card, like attacking under a Bow of Nylea with a Stonecoil Serpent or Pilgrim's Eye
