Doubling Season is one of the few cards of its type that can double the counters that are placed on planeswalkers, letting you use their final and often strongest abilities as soon as they come into play
That wear on the bottom right corner of the backside is pretty noticable though, and the card might have been more correctly labeled as Heavily Played
Of course, the payoff for resolving this in Goblin decks is massive, as when it enters, you get to nab all of the Goblins with mana value five or less from the top six cards of your library and plop them directly into play
