It offers the visual appeal and vintage provenance of an early Base Set print, the legitimate collectability of a scarce variant, and a price point that, while still substantial, is accessible to a much broader range of serious collectors than the 1st Edition
While there arent any really clear trends for individual cards aside from the fact that (just like the uncommon Trainer cards associated with Team Rocket) the Rockets Pokmon were among those to appear less frequently in the sample, it is noteworthy that despite smaller sample size the variance is much lower than for the Base Set 2 holos and for the Base Set, Jungle and Fossil samples I showed in an earlier post
