My favorite is Hunted Horror, which just slams down a massive amount of power on turn 2 in Commander
This is a great Commander to mix things up in a pod, but probably better as part of a rotation alongside other Commander decks
That doesnt necessarily mean Temur Ferocious is a new MTG Modern menace, mind you
In practice, MTG cards: Feel a bit thicker and more solid than 250 gsm business card stock Are flexible enough to riffle shuffle without creasing right away Stack evenly so a whole deck of cards feels consistent in height and weight If youre trying to match real MTG cards for your own proxy deck, youre usually aiming for: Blue or black core playing card board around 300 gsm 0.3 mm thickness A smooth finish that isnt ultra-glossy toy plastic, but also not plain uncoated paper That combo is the sweet spot where cards feel right in the world of Magic and other card games
And of red, specifically but also all the other colors from time to time. Dragons have become a catch-all tribe for large, powerful creatures
But the real answer to this question depends on your budget and what set youd like to buy
