Being able to cast one spell and get another for free helps counteract a few of the problems with this deck, notably its somewhat lacking land base for such big spells, and the deal is made even sweeter with some of the enters-the-battlefield effects you could be unexpectedly triggering
But raising the floor of an effect thats already got a good ceiling is always important and its always a great flex when you find ways to use a card that your opponents hadnt even considered
The four Commander decks have been reprinted twice, so the supply of them is not as restricted as it initially appeared, but you'll still struggle to find them in shops now
