They do not attack with Elvish Reclaimer, which, with 3 cards in hand, leaves freak scenarios like double Elvish Spirit Guide + Stifle as potential avenues to win, but unlikely
Its a heavily-played card in formats where its legal, and thats mostly Vintage, Legacy, Cube, and EDH, where its a Game Changer
You only need other creatures to make it good, which is trivially easy for most Limited decks
There's also what Wizards refers to internally as ' snap-on equipment .' This isn't a named mechanic, but rather refers to the type of equipment that automatically attaches to creatures once it enters the battlefield, like Embercleave or Mithril Coat
For added survivability, Rocky Helmet provides extra defense, and Leaf offers a quick retreat option if the battle gets too intense
While this is how I chose to upgrade this deck, that doesnt mean its the only way
