For anything you might slab, look at the graded ladder what PSA 10 context looks like next to a 9, and how CGC or BGS equivalents compare then do the arithmetic before you commit: Grading service fees at your chosen tier Shipping both directions, plus insurance Turnaround time and the money sitting idle during it The realistic grade, not the hopeful one If the graded premium is modest and your honest pre-grade read says "probably a 9", submitting is a hobby expense rather than a value play
