It's one of the easiest kindred archetypes to maintain over the long term
In the times Ive run it, Ive made a lot of enemiestheres something about an opponent countering your spell and taking it right there and then that really gets people hot under the collar
Lake of the Dead has quite an expensive effect, forcing you to sacrifice a Swamp just to get it onto the field (the idea, I think, is for a Swamp to flow over and turn into the Lake) and then you can sacrifice another Swamp for four times of the mana
Second, Im amazed this card is only two mana
The card art by Leslie Strock is to die for, and it's probably one of my favorite designs I've ever seen in a trading card game, let alone Lorcana itself
Others focus almost entirely on mana production and giant X-spells
