but I think it makes it even more of a special thing and great addition to a collection of beautiful brushes

the height varies a bit

bold pattern and subtleties of the old painted surface (which details best capture) make it to my eye a really beautiful thing

And some kid or kids definitely loved it, giving the wooden people inside colorful faces and bodies. It's definitely pretty indestructible, and has many good years of play in yet, though not a bad shelf object either, with smiling faces pointing out. 7" tall x 8 3 8" long x 4 3 8" wide. Scuffs and a few pencil or crayon marks here or there but
