Just about the only negative about this rod (and I'm probably being a little over-scrupulous here) is that there are some very small digs in the cork from where the snake guides have pressed into it while the rod was in the tube

Excellent condition. Full length original ribbed foot. Ebonite handle spins freely. Stamped "JS" for Jimmy Smith. Nice tight reel mechanically. No cosmetic issues to speak of other than slight frame edge wear rash. The reel appears to be 100% original. These nearly 100+ year reels are wildly coveted throughout the world as
