with paper behind it visible along the top and bottom edges
but with thicker wood for the base and thinner paint/stain giving on orange color to the exterior of the house--with a matching orange walkway making its way to what I take for a sidewalk
Edna Mohler's Maple Leaf, 1910 Crayon Drawing tightly woven basket and a partial loss ofA very October feeling sort of a maple leaf in this radiant yellow, with just a bit of orange too, and I really love the manner of those handwritten "L"s, echoing the line of the leaf of the stem, and evoking the gesture of a feaf fluttering to the ground. A bit of a transcendent one I think. (And long live the land of the Maple Leaf!) 9 1 4" x 6", crayon on paper with ink lettering. Good condition, bright and strong color, with some toning to upper
