Cast Iron Art Nouveau Bookend with Super Folky Face 1926 donkey party poppy lark-spur and the likeWhat I love about this old art nouveau bookend is the super folky (one might say homely) face on this a nude, completely endearing her to me even as it somewhat undermines her seductive pose. I don't believe this was intentional, but I think it makes this a marvelously human, empathetic thing. Love. 6" t x 4 1 4" w x 2 3 4" d and heavy. 1920s I believe, and in good condition, with loss to what I believe was a bronzed finish, all the good I think.
