Matured for 14 years in a first fill sherry butt, cask no. #5609 before bottling at a powerful 61. 1% abv. Aromas of beeswax polish, sultana and prune are complemented by a palate with flavours of stewed plums, zesty orange and milk chocolate. Theres a spicy finish with lingering oak. A rich whisky that lets Aberfeldys natural honeyed sweetness to come to the fore.
