Sam Carlson early quad bamboo rod 7'6" 2/2 #4/5 7'4" handmade in AlnwickFor sale here is a rod you won't find on the resale market very often, an early 7'6 4 5wt quad made by the late Sam Carlson. Simply inked "Carlson" like he did on his early rods prior to "Thomas Carlson", "Thomas Four", and then "Carlson Four". This rod was apparently made in the late 1950s before Carlson started inking the serial number on his rods.
