The grip is 11 corks and is done in what I would call a Hawes style (it tapers up most of the way to the front cork check and turns down just before the end)

This rod also comes with an unusual brass top and collar (photo below) that I made while experimenting with a new style and design

This fly is a classic hairwing Green Highlander
