Medium fast action with fine delicate tips (this feels like a great trico rod). Lightly used with some discoloration of the grip and edgewear to the cap and ring seat hardware. The serial number denotes a 1984 manufacture date, the Larry foster period, near the end of the company. The rod is flame treated like the Hunt. 3 up node pattern
