I love the not-quite triangular shape

And it's plenty large to hold a lot of whatever one wants to store inside

Glue evident around feet where they attach to base and there looks to be a bit of glue around one knee below the cuff (minor)

the dog itself is color litho printed on cardboard then adhered to both sides of a piece of wood

This piece reminds me so much of watching jellyfish at an aquarium--luminous and mesmerizing

Carved of one piece of wood, I'd guess it dates to the 1940s or so. Original white paint, with just very minor loss in a few spots. There are a couple of hairline cracks, top back and left front of seat, which do not have structural impact; it is quite sturdy and sound. 6 7 16 x 4 1 4 x 4 1 8 d and in overall very food condition, with one split as noted
