GM Lower Timing Gear Retainer (I4, I5, I6) Range Rover Velar / L560This tool is required to help keep the lower timing gear tensioner stationary while the cylinder head is removed from the I4, I5, I6 engines. If this tool is not used it will cause the lower timing gear tensioner to extend necessitating the need to disassemble the lower part of the engine which increases the labor time by 12. 8 hours for cylinder head repair. Applications: Buick Rainier 4. 2L 2004, 2005, 2006, and 2007 Chevy Colorado 2. 8L & 3. 5L
