The chairs boast shaped walnut crested rails, pierced vertical splats, turned front legs and sabre back legs. The chairs are structurally sound and stand firm with no difficulties in weight bearing. The support struts to the base of one chair appear to have been repaired at some point (please see photographs); this repair remains
