The rod has full intermediate wraps and all of the wraps remain in excellent condition

The varnish has hardened since then so what we are left with is a cosmetic issue only

An earlier three screw model with internal badging for "James Neill and Sons, Ltd Fredericton, NB" which I have seldom seen. The internals also bear the initials "TAG" (Thomas Armstrong 19281978 ) which is stamped into the inside of the frame.
