9 1/2" tall x 5 1/2" long x 3 1/2" wide and in great condition

so maybe ideally suited for hanging in a kid’s bedroom or playroom

or maybe near the fireplace

maybe 1920s or so

and have not found another out there quite like it

Six Links Carved Whimsy Chain blue green scarab 9 1/2" tall x 5I never tire of these carved whimsy chains, as even carving a two link chain seems like a miracle to me, and even fairly simple ones have their own distinct personalities. I like the rustic ness of this one and its relatively large and fat links; it feels a bit more like one carved by a prisoner than an end of the day leisurely whittler! 5 3 4" long x 1 1 16" wide x 5 16" thick. Definitely with some age, but no notable cracks or splits. A nice one
