Pair Of Novelty Silver Chick Pepperettes, c.1920 Boxes painted or intricately carvedA delightful pair of novelty silver pepperettes in the form of chicks wearing top hats and bow ties, c. 1920s. Marks present but illegible. Each pepperette has a hinged top hat which opens to reveal the pepperette beneath. The heads detach to enable re filling. All hinges and lids function as they should. Stamps present to bow ties and rim of neck but illegible. Stored in a later box for A & J Cohen, 16 Temple Parade, London. Dimensions Height: 5. 5cm
