Two Fisherman at Waterfall, Earlier 19th Century Small Mounted Oil on Linen Painting (Presumed Fragment) automotive sign I might guess late 19thI'd guess this painting, found in Central MA, is a fragment salvaged from a once larger painting, but I don't know for certain; at some point, long after it was painted (oil on linen), someone mounted it to a piece of hardboard. It's an early one, earlier than later 19th century I believe, and as is is all about these two little fisherman perched along the banks of a waterfall. I really love the intimacy of the view, and the force of that flowing
