I believe noting the placement of the card as part of the ordered set as well as relating to the offering depicted

Held in the hands of the lady at left

and wish I could say they were as charming and well behaved as this bunch

which I am guessing indicates this was either painted at or previously owned by Wellesley College

but many good years left and the perfect excuse to host a ladies card night

I'm a sucker for paper cutouts of all sorts, but really like how the owl (with pencil drawn face) animates this set, which work well layered atop one another, easily popped into a frame together. Owl measures 5 5 8" wide. Largest "snowflake"
